Local data
Caught cats, their names, your garden layout, exploration position and settings are stored on your device. Cat names and garden layouts are not sent to advertising services.
Shared park
We use Google Firebase Anonymous Authentication and Cloud Firestore. An anonymous user ID, captured cat IDs, capture times, an automatically generated public alias and online presence are sent to synchronize the park and resolve competing captures. The display name and discovery date of the person who finds the reference cat appear in the hall of fame. Public aliases are generated from anonymous IDs and cannot be freely edited. Cat nicknames remain on the device and are not shown in the hall of fame.
Local weather
Local weather is disabled in the version prepared for release. Location permission is not requested and location data is not transmitted. You can choose clear, cloudy, rain or snow.
Advertising and choices
We use Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform. The advertising SDK may collect IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, advertising information and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Regional consent and iOS tracking permission are requested before advertising is initialized. Advertising identifiers are not used without permission. You can play if you deny tracking. In applicable regions, Ad privacy choices in the app settings lets you change your choices. Tracking permission can be changed in iOS Settings.
